Robert McDuffie

Grammy® nominated artist Robert McDuffie has appeared as soloist with most of the major orchestras of the world.

In December 2009, he gave the World Premiere of Philip Glass’ Violin Concerto No. 2, The American Four Seasons — a work written for Mr. McDuffie — with the Toronto Symphony. During the 2010-2011 season, Mr. McDuffie completed a 30-city U.S. tour with the Venice Baroque Orchestra, pairing the Glass Four Seasons with the Vivaldi Four Seasons. He also played the Glass with the National Symphony of Mexico, the Düsseldorf Symphony, the Nashville, Louisiana and San Antonio Symphonies, the Poznan Philharmonic of Poland, the Prague Philharmonia at the Prague Spring Festival, and, paired with the Vivaldi Four Seasons, with the Zürich Chamber Orchestra at the Zürich Tonhalle.

Amy Scwartz Moretti

Violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti performs extensively as a chamber musician and soloist. She has appeared across North America and in Europe since her solo concerto debut at Carnegie Hall in 1998. Recent engagements include concerts in Seattle, Montréal, Macon, Cleveland, Miami, Atlanta and Rome, Italy. She has performed at Chamber Music Northwest and the Aspen Music Festival in duos with Robert McDuffie, and was featured soloist at the Brevard Music Center with Keith Lockhart conducting.

Stanley L. Roberts

Stanley L. Roberts

Stanley L. Roberts is in his 18th year of teaching in the Townsend School of Music of Mercer University where he is the Arthur Lowndes Rich Professor of Choral Conducting and Associate Dean. In this position, he conducts the Mercer Singers and the Mercer Women’s Chamber Choir, while teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in conducting, choral literature and techniques. Since becoming director of the Mercer Singers, this ensemble has sung on numerous programs for the Georgia Music Educators Association, the Southern Division of MENC, and the Southern Division of the American Choral Directors Association.
